CUSTOMER PREMISES EQUIPMENT (Ex. Appliances, Electronic Devices, etc.)

The Oklahoma Corporation Commission does not regulate customer premises equipment. For assistance regarding CPE, contact the equipment manufacturer and/or the establishment where the equipment was purchased.

CABLE, SATELITE TELEVISION & EQUIPMENT USED TO PROVIDE TELEVISION SERVICES

Cable television service is not regulated by the Oklahoma Corporation Commission. For assistance with cable TV service, please contact your local cable TV provider, your local franchising authority (usually a city or county government) and/or the Oklahoma Office of the Attorney General. If you believe you are a victim of fraud or in need of consumer protection contact the Oklahoma Office of the Attorney General for assistance.

MISCELLANEOUS INFORMATION:

Federal Consumer Information Center (FCIC).
The FCIC is part of the U.S. General Services Administration and operates a toll free contact center and two publications.

1-800-FED-INFO (1-800-326-2996) -- Representatives will answer consumers questions or get them to the federal agency that can.

The contact center also takes orders for the Consumer Action Handbook and the Consumer Information Catalog. The Handbook provides advice and tips on solving consumer complaints, as well as thousands of names, addresses, telephone numbers, web site and e-mail addresses for national consumer organizations, better business bureaus, and corporations.

Methods for entering a complaint with the OCC:

  • You may enter a complaint via phone on regular business days from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. by calling 405-521-2331 or 1-800-522-8154 statewide toll free.
  • Email maybe used to enter a complaint by sending the information to CS@occ.ok.gov. A Consumer Services Representative will contact you on the next regular business day.
  • Complaints and comments may be entered 24 hours a day through Facebook Messages.
  • Complaints may also be entered here through the  Online Complaint Form for Public Utility and Telecommunications Companies
  • Consumers may make in-person complaints at 2101 N. Lincoln Blvd, Oklahoma City, OK, on the 5th floor from 8:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Monday through Friday.  If you would like an in-person meeting at the Tulsa location, please call 1-800-522-8154 to set up an appointment so an agent can be made available.
